Nabunturan, Davao de Oro – The Social Security System (SSS) has announced the opening of a new service office in Nabunturan, Davao de Oro, aimed at bringing its services closer to members and pensioners from 132 barangays in the province.
“We are delighted to increase our presence in Nabunturan, which demonstrates our commitment to providing more accessible and excellent services to our members,” said SSS Vice President for Mindanao South 1 Division Mary Ellen A. Estoque.
The new service office is located at the Business Processing and Licensing Section of the Nabunturan Negosyo Center, Municipal Hall Building, in Purok 9, Barangay Poblacion.
The office will be open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., to serve residents of Nabunturan as well as those from the neighboring municipalities of Compostela, Mawab, New Bataan, Montevista, Monkayo, New Corella, and nearby areas.
Estoque stated that the SSS Nabunturan office aims to provide a hassle-free experience for members seeking assistance with inquiries and verification, online applications for Social Security (SS) Numbers, web registration, submission of benefit and loan applications, and disbursement account enrollment.
“SSS Nabunturan will serve a projected population of 405,816 in the Province of Davao de Oro, eliminating the need for them to travel at least 33 kilometers to transact business at the SSS Tagum Branch,” Estoque added.
She concluded that this collaborative effort between SSS and the Local Government Unit of Davao de Oro marks a significant step in enhancing access to social security services across the region.
