DAVAO CITY, Philippines — Members of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) expressed dissatisfaction with a police checkpoint established on the national highway near KOJC premises this evening.
The presence of a vehicle from the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) with body number 297 was documented by KOJC members. However, according to social media posts from KOJC, the operatives are SWAT members in full battle gear.
KOJC members demanded a Mission Order authorizing the police presence and checkpoint operations.
Since June 10, KOJC members have maintained a presence along the national highway adjacent to their location.
They voiced their concerns, arguing that it was unjustified for the police to display their weapons in the vicinity of KOJC premises.
