DIGOS CITY, Davao Del Sur – A security guard was arrested on August 17, 2024, after being found in possession of illegal drugs.
The arrest followed a search operation conducted by the Digos City police and other PNP units in Davao Del Sur.
The search warrant was authorized by Executive Judge Carfelita Cadiente-Flores of RTC Digos and was executed at 10:17 AM in Purok Panther, Lapu-Lapu Extension, Digos City.
The arrested individual, identified only as “Pidong,” a 50-year-old resident of the area, was recently flagged by the police as a known drug personality.
During the search, authorities recovered six sachets containing a substance believed to be shabu, as well as revolvers, bullets, and drug paraphernalia.
The confiscated illegal drugs are estimated to be worth PHP 12,240.
