Marcos visits wounded soldiers in Maguindanao

DAVAO CITY –— President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Monday visited the soldiers recovering at Camp Siongco Station Hospital in Maguindanao del Norte, and raised PhP100,000 financial assistance to seven personnel who were seriously injured.

The visit was part of his schedule when he personally witnesses the graduation ceremony of 100 new police recruits comprised of 92 males and eight females which was part of the provision of the Republic Act 11054 or the Bangsamoro Organically Law (BOL) that stipulated the policing in the Bangsamoro

The President also gave a message to the troops of the 6th Infantry Division to recognize their contributions to security in Mindanao and invite them to ensure a fair and peaceful election in Bangsamoro next year.
