The Sussexes opened the One Young World Manchester Summit earlier this month in England—days before Queen Elizabeth II sadly passed away. (The queen died on September 8 of old age, per her death certificate.)
At the event, help on September 5, eight delegates participated in a roundtable with Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan. They spoke of ways to help advance gender equality and inclusion—in all areas of life and business—in order to build better futures for the younger generations.
Each delegate shared more on their projects, all geared toward accelerating social impact across the globe. Swara Patel spoke on period poverty, Shilpa Yarlagadda voiced her efforts to support women-led businesses, and Nhial Deng spoke of the need to help women living in refugee camps.
