Sydney Sweeney is red-carpet royalty.
The actress stepped out on the red carpet for the 74th annual Emmy Awards in a fairy-tale-esque dress, custom made from Oscar de la Renta.
She cut an elegant figure in a pearly white sheath dress with a structured waist and an attached train. The piece included shimmering silver floral embroidery all over. She also accessorized with a few diamond rings.
The first-time Emmy nominee is up for two awards at tonight’s ceremony: Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for her role as Olivia Mossbacher on The White Lotus and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Cassie on Euphoria.
Sweeney recently opened up about her newfound fame since joining the HBO shows in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
“I had no idea getting into this industry how many people have connections. I started from ground zero, and I know how fucking hard it is. Now I see how someone can just walk in a door, and I’m like, ‘I worked my fucking ass off for 10 years for this,'” she told the outlet.
She also said the nomination she received this year for Euphoria came as a surprise. “Of course I was hoping for Euphoria because I’m so proud of my character and I put a lot into it,” she said, “but I didn’t think I was going to get it because of the other actresses who gave such incredible performances this year.”
