The entire world watched—either in person or remotely—as the royal family said their final goodbyes to Queen Elizabeth II today.
This morning, Her Majesty’s children and grandchildren led the procession of the royal family and members of the king’s household ahead of her funeral at Westminster Abbey. The service began at 11 a.m. U.K. time, and attendees included British royals, royals from other countries, and state leaders.
Royals, including King Charles III, Prince Harry, and Duchess Meghan, were seen getting emotional during the ceremony. Once it ended, the late queen’s four children—King Charles III, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward—were seen walking behind her coffin as it was carried in the state hearse to St. George’s Chapel. Joining them were also Prince William, Prince Harry, Peter Phillips, the Earl of Snowdon, Prince Richard, and Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence.
