Britney Spears and Elton John’s duet has some adorable cover art.
The “Stronger” and the “I’m Still Standing” singers released the artwork for their single last Friday, ahead of the highly-anticipated collaboration’s release on August 26. The art is comprised of two separate shots of the pop stars as kids: a color photo of young Spears in a pink dance costume, and a black-and-white shot of young John at a piano.
The Spears-and-John collab, a new version of his 1972 single “Tiny Dancer,” will be the “Lucky” singer’s first musical project since being freed from her 13-year conservatorship. It will also come six years after the release of her latest album, Glory.
The “Lucky” singer promoted the forthcoming song on Instagram yesterday, sharing an image of the “Rocket Man” singer in his iconic bedazzled Dodgers uniform. A pic of Spears wearing a similar sequined unitard that’s emblazoned with “Elton” is super-imposed next to the black-and-white image.

Earlier this month, Spears’ friend Paris Hilton confirmed the pop star’s return from her music hiatus. In an interview with Paul Barewijk for his show, Paul Voor Je Neus, the Cooking With Paris host said that she has actually heard the track and believes it’s an instant hit.
“It’s gonna be iconic,” she said about the new single. “I just heard it a couple days ago in Ibiza and it is … it’s insane.”
Whether Spears’ will make a solo return to music is still up in the air, as the singer previously said various times on Instagram that her break from music following her conservatorship battle could be permanent. However, she has posted several dance videos on Instagram, as well as a TikTok video of her singing a slow version of her hit “…Baby One More Time,” hinting that she could be finding her way back to music.
