Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson are making their relationship work despite their crazy-busy schedules.
Per a source, though the comedian is currently filming a movie in Australia and the SKKN founder is filming her Hulu show in Los Angeles, their romance is thriving.
“Kim and Pete’s relationship is going better than ever and they are closer and more in love than ever before,” the insider told Entertainment Tonight. “They are both extremely busy with work, but they both make constant efforts to ensure that they see and spend time together on a relatively consistent basis, even if that means flying thousands of miles to be with each other.”
The source added that the couple “will do whatever it takes to maintain and balance their professional and personal lives together.”
The duo has been going strong for some time now, with Kardashian regularly showing off her man on Instagram and Davidson making his debut on The Kardashians. The former Saturday Night Live comedian also recently made headlines when he said in an interview with Kevin Hart that he can’t wait to become a father. And in an interview of her own earlier this year, Kardashian—who shares four kids with ex-husband Kanye West—hinted that she may want more children in the future.
“Kim’s kids think Pete is so funny, playful and adore him,” the source told ET. “Pete definitely wants to be a dad and him and Kim have spoken about that, but they are focused on building their relationship right now.”
The insider added that these days when Kardashian and Davidson are apart, the reality star checks in on him and FaceTimes him throughout the day.
“She has her own ways of making him feel special, and she certainly makes her presence known in his life. They have insane chemistry and can hardly keep their hands off of each other when they’re together in person,” the source said. “Once Pete is done filming, they are hoping to take a trip together as a celebration of the project being wrapped combined with a ‘reunion.'”
Kardashian has been open about her love for Davidson, sharing in a recent interview that she hopes he’s in her life “for a long time.” And though Davidson is less public about his love life, he has covered himself in tattoos dedicated to his girlfriend—and even got a branding of her name.
Meanwhile, West “is still bitter about everything” and “will never fully give up on the idea of getting back together with Kim,” the source said, “but he is attempting to accept that Pete is here to stay.”
