Duchess Kate made a much-awaited appearance on day four of the Royal Ascot.
She and Prince William arrived in complementing summer looks. The Duchess of Cambridge looked dreamy in an airy white dress with a built-in belt and brown polka dots by Alessandra Rich. She wore a matching pair of brown pointed-toe heels and a brown sun hat adorned with small white flowers by Sally-Ann Provan. Finally, she accessorized with diamond and pearl drop earrings and her dazzling diamond-and-sapphire engagement ring.
She kept her hair in an elegant twisted low bun and wore natural makeup consisting of tan eye shadow and a berry lip.
The Duke of Cambridge joined her in a dapper black suit jacket, which he layered over a beige vest, sky blue dress shirt, and bright blue tie. He paired the look with textured gray trousers and a black top hat.
The pair were seen arriving in a carriage and later chatting and laughing together on the balcony of the venue while enjoying the races with fellow royals.
The Cambridges had been noticeably absent from the glamorous five-day horse racing event, as has Queen Elizabeth II who will be skipping the Royal Ascot this year due to her ongoing mobility issues. Other members of the royal family, however, have been showing off their best spring-summer looks, including Sophie, Countess of Wessex, who wore a dramatic floral gown on day three of the event.
Yesterday, Kate hosted a roundtable with government ministers, senior civil servants, and the early years sector to talk about early childhood development, a cause close to her heart. To the event, she wore a head-to-toe baby pink suit, which she paired with a classic white blouse and soft pink heels.
