Our Scalp Serum topical treatment helps create a well-balanced, healthy surface while the Thick & Full Supplements reinforce the scalp from within.”
OUAI’s new-and-improved Thick & Full Supplements are designed to be taken once daily with food and water, and are powered by ingredients like pea sprout extract, biotin, and a multi-vitamin complex to encourage longer, fuller hair in up to 60 days. “There are a few exciting differences between our new supplements versus their original formula,” Wilson explains. “The supplements are now vegan, so anyone who couldn’t partake in our hair thickening supplements before can certainly take them now. Secondly, they’re available in capsule form, which helps make them easier to swallow.” In addition to fortifying fine, thinning, and damaged hair, the supplements also are designed to minimize hair shedding and overall vitality.

To help balance scalp oil and hydration while encouraging hair growth, the brand’s Scalp Serum uses a blend of ingredients like hyaluronic acid plus adaptogens like arctic root, Siberian ginseng, and chaga mushroom. The treatment is also created for daily use, and is massaged directly on the scalp, starting at the natural part and along the hairline.
“We wanted to make using the Scalp Serum really effortless,” says OUAI founder Jen Atkin. “This leave-in formula spreads easily and absorbs quickly without compromising your style or natural volume (or lack thereof).” It’s versatile in your routine too: “Scalp Serum can be applied in the morning or evening on wet or dry hair,” says Atkin, who recommends using the serum “first before any other hair products, like dry shampoo.”
The Scalp Serum is ideal for soothing irritated skin from hair styling, and also features a vegan formula that’s safe for color-, keratin-, and chemically treated hair, and contains the brand’s Cape Town scent with notes of ginger, green fig, and spearmint.
