Zoë Kravitz weigh in?
The Batman actress shared her thoughts on the incident in an Instagram post this Tuesday afternoon.
“Here’s a picture of my dress at the show where we are apparently assaulting people on stage now,” she captioned the shot of herself in the dusty pink gown, courtesy of Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello, that she wore on the Academy Awards red carpet Sunday.

Kravitz’s post comes hours after Jada Pinkett-Smith broke her silence on her husband’s verbal and physical attack against Chris Rock. “This is a season for healing and I’m here for it,” the quote the Red Table Talk host posted on her Instagram read.
Smith himself also spoke of the event, apologizing to Rock in a statement shared on Instagram Monday and admitting he’s “embarrassed” by his actions. “Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable,” he said. “I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be.”
Rock has stayed quiet about it all, but refused to press charges against the King Richard actor, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to BAZAAR.com.
Kravitz is only the latest celebrity to seemingly condemn Smith for his actions at the 2022 Oscars. Actress Mia Farrow, director Judd Apatow, One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush, and various others also shared comments on Twitter stressing that violence is never OK.
