Kylie Jenner let down her guard and put away the makeup to deliver a powerful and honest message to moms struggling with postpartum recovery—like herself.

In a set of videos posted on her Instagram Story Tuesday evening, the beauty mogul said she’s been going through a rough time following the birth of her son, Wolf Webster, whom she welcomed with boyfriend Travis Scott on February 2.

“I just want to say to my postpartum moms that postpartum has not been easy. It’s not been easy, it’s very hard,” she said. “This experience for me, personally, has been a little harder than with my daughter.”

Jenner and Scott are also parents to four-year-old daughter Stormi Webster, who was born on February 1, 2018.

“It’s not easy mentally, physically, spiritually, it’s just crazy,” Jenner continued. “I didn’t want to just get back to life without saying that, because I think we can look on the Internet, and for other moms going through it right now, we can go on the Internet and it might look a lot easier for other people and, like, put the pressure on us, but it hasn’t been easy for me either, it’s been hard.”

In another clip, taken from her home gym, the reality star added that she didn’t even think she’d make it to her workout that day. “But I’m here, and I’m feeling better, so you got this,” she said, pointing toward the screen addressing followers.

She said she is six weeks postpartum, which is about the time most moms can consider going back to working out, according to health experts.

“And it’s okay not to be okay,” Jenner added. “Once I realized that … I was putting some pressure on myself, and I just keep reminding myself I made a whole human—a beautiful, healthy boy. And we have to stop putting pressure on ourselves to be back—not even physically, just mentally—after birth.”

She finished her video message by sending her followers love. “I love you guys,” she said.

Unlike her first pregnancy, which she kept hidden from fans, Jenner was open about her journey to motherhood the second time around. She made the pregnancy announcement in September with a sweet video of her breaking the news to Scott and mom Kris Jenner. She then regularly posted shots of her bump, both inside her home and out, looking glamorous in various monochrome looks. In January, she shared photos of her baby shower, to which she wore all white.

Though the star has been noticeably absent from social media for the past month, following the birth of her and Scott’s baby boy, fans will get to see more of her on the family’s upcoming Hulu show, The Kardashians. In a teaser for the first season, Jenner is seen discussing her “really public” pregnancy.
