Jennifer Lopez is getting in on the ’70s fashion revival.
The entertainment mogul recently posted an Instagram Reel that offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse at her new song, “On My Way,” which appears in her upcoming rom-com Marry Me. While rehearsing the emotional piano ballad in the studio, J.Lo dialed up the nostalgia in a tangerine monochrome look reminiscent of the ’70s.
The all-orange look included a ribbed turtleneck sweater, high-waisted zip-up trousers, and metallic platform shoes. She accessorized with a peachy corduroy newsboy cap, chunky hoop earrings, and an assortment of silver statement rings.

In another behind-the-scenes promo for Marry Me that the singer posted to Instagram a few days earlier, she explains the meaning of “On My Way.”
“‘On My Way’ I think is the perfect song, the perfect theme for Kat and Charlie,” she says in the video, referring to her and costar Owen Wilson’s characters in the film. “The nuances of it are beautiful. It’s about always remembering where she’s from and coming into her own, not just as a person in relationships, but also as an artist growing, because those kinds of things go hand in hand.”
She adds, “I don’t understand why I was going through all of these trials and tribulations and heartbreaks and all of these things, but now it makes sense because I met you. Now it makes sense because I have you. Now it makes sense because of us. We kind of worked to help complete the story.”
